The Rio-based clothing brand Handred, in partnership with the Sergio Rodrigues Institute, has developed a collection featuring previously unseen designs from the Sergio Rodrigues Institute's collection. These designs have been reinterpreted by hand, with a focus on embroidery and prints on pieces made of silk, linen, and organza.
The project also includes a mini-documentary about the research and development process of the collection and a printed publication (zine) with texts and photos. All the brand's stores have received furniture designed by the designer.
The collection launch featured a fashion show at SPFW (São Paulo Fashion Week) at the Dpot store in São Paulo. Part of the proceeds from the sales of this collection will be directed towards maintaining the Institute.
