A new book about Sergio Rodrigues is being born. The designer Baba Vacaro and the designer Fernando Mendes – research coordinator of the Institute – are the organizers. In the photo, the two are researching our collection. The book is scheduled for publication in 2017 by BEĨ Editora in partnership with Instituto Sergio Rodrigues.

Lecture at ESPM Rio
Designer Fernando Mendes presented the lecture “Sergio Rodrigues, Six Decades of Design” to Design students at ESPM in Rio de Janeiro in April. Promoted by the Institute, the event had the support of Professor Eliana Formiga, coordinator of the course at the university. Project carried out by the Ministry of Culture with sponsorship from Itaú.
